Premier Li Chinas Economy Shows Stability in Face of External Shocks

Premier Li Qiang: China’s Economy Stays Strong Amid Global Challenges

Chinese Premier Li Qiang has emphasized the resilience and stability of China’s economy amidst global uncertainties and external shocks. Speaking at the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, known as the Summer Davos, in Tianjin on Wednesday, Premier Li highlighted China’s continued growth and commitment to openness.

“Despite the rise of protectionism, unilateralism, and anti-globalization sentiments posing significant challenges to businesses worldwide, China’s economy has maintained a unique stability,” Premier Li said during a symposium with business leaders.

He underscored the importance of a stable business environment in the face of growing uncertainties in international economic and trade cooperation. “The stability we offer is crucial for multinational corporations seeking sustainable development in the Chinese market,” he added.

Premier Li pointed out that China’s unwavering commitment to opening up has enabled it to withstand external shocks while continuing its own rhythm of growth. This openness, he noted, provides opportunities for global businesses to thrive despite adverse global trends.

The Summer Davos forum, held in the northern city of Tianjin, brought together leaders from business, government, and civil society to discuss innovation, technology, and sustainable development in a rapidly changing world.

As global economic landscapes shift, China’s message of stability and openness offers a beacon for international cooperation and shared prosperity.
