Chinese Premier Li Qiang Arrives in Rio for BRICS Summit

Chinese Premier Li Qiang touched down in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday to attend the 17th BRICS Summit. Brazil, serving as the rotating chair of BRICS this year, will host the summit on July 6 and 7.

The BRICS Summit is a gathering of leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, aiming to strengthen cooperation among emerging economies and discuss strategies for global development. Premier Li’s participation highlights China’s commitment to collaborative growth and forging stronger ties with fellow BRICS nations.

Following the summit, Premier Li will make an official visit to Egypt from July 9 to 10 at the invitation of Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Kamal Madbouly. The visit is expected to enhance bilateral relations and explore opportunities for partnership between the two countries.
