“Choosing China is choosing the future,” proclaimed Simon Lichtenberg in a heartfelt letter to Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee. As the founding chairman of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, Lichtenberg has called China home for over three decades, building bridges between cultures and economies.

“When I first arrived in China over 30 years ago, I was captivated by its rich culture and endless possibilities,” Lichtenberg shared. “Through mutual respect and understanding, we’ve built partnerships that have withstood the test of time.”
