Archaeologist Wang Wei Calls for Global Cultural Exchange at Beijing Forum

BEIJING—At the “Inter-Civilization Exchanges and Mutual Learning: Cultural Inheritance and Innovation” sub-forum held on Friday, renowned archaeologist Wang Wei emphasized the vital role of cultural exchange in shaping civilizations. The event was part of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting, bringing together guests from China and abroad to discuss the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative.

Wang Wei, president of the Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology, drew from his 43 years of experience in archaeological research to highlight the historical context of Chinese civilization.
