SCO Ministers Set Stage for 2025 Summit in Tianjin

Foreign ministers from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states met in Tianjin on Tuesday, laying the groundwork for the upcoming summit scheduled for August 31 to September 1, 2025.

The meeting served as political preparation for the summit, with attendees exchanging views on enhancing cooperation across various sectors within the SCO framework. They also discussed key international and regional issues affecting member countries.

A series of resolutions and official documents were signed during the meeting, aiming to strengthen collaboration and promote stability in the region. The ministers emphasized the importance of unified efforts in tackling common challenges and advancing mutual interests.

The SCO, founded in 2001, is a Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance that plays a significant role in regional affairs. The upcoming summit in Tianjin is expected to further solidify cooperation among member states.
