Beijing Museum Unveils Epic Exhibition on China’s 14-Year Resistance

A new exhibition titled “For National Liberation and World Peace” has opened at the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Beijing. The exhibition commemorates the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

Featuring an extensive collection of 1,525 photographs and 3,237 historical artifacts, the exhibition offers a comprehensive look into China’s 14-year struggle against Japanese invasion from 1931 to 1945. Visitors can explore the chronological journey through rare artifacts, archival documents, historical footage, artwork, and meticulously recreated wartime scenes.

The exhibition highlights the pivotal role played by the Communist Party of China during the war, emphasizing the significant contributions made by the Chinese people to the global victory over fascism. It provides a multidimensional understanding of the era, resonating with younger generations eager to learn about their nation’s history.

Since its opening on July 8, the exhibition has drawn widespread attention, welcoming over 6,000 visitors on its first day alone, according to the Beijing Evening News. The museum plans to keep the exhibition open to the public permanently.
