Mainland Slams Lai Ching tes lectures As Deceptive and Provocative

Mainland Condemns Lai Ching-te’s ‘Unity Lectures’ as Provocative

A spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office on Wednesday strongly condemned Taiwan leader Lai Ching-te’s “10 lectures on unity,” calling them a blatant attempt to promote separatist ideology and fuel tension across the Taiwan Strait.

Chen Binhua, the spokesperson, criticized Lai’s speeches as being “filled with lies, deceit, hostility, and provocation.” He described the lectures as a “distorted narrative” aimed at manipulating history and misleading public opinion in the Taiwan region.

“The so-called 10 lectures on unity are nothing but a collection of pro-independence fallacies,” Chen stated, accusing Lai of inciting division and stirring separatist sentiments among residents of Taiwan. “This fully reveals his stubborn separatist nature. He is, in essence, a disruptor of peace and a troublemaker.”

Chen emphasized that the root cause of tensions in the Taiwan Strait lies in certain forces pushing for “Taiwan independence” and engaging in repeated provocations. “Taiwan is an inalienable part of China,” he affirmed. “We will never allow any separatist force, in any name or form, to separate Taiwan from the motherland.”

He warned that any attempt to split China will face firm resistance from all Chinese people. “We urge relevant parties to recognize the seriousness of the issue and refrain from actions that undermine peace and stability across the strait,” Chen added.
