Chinese Police Join Croatian Patrols to Boost Tourist Safety

In a move to enhance tourist safety, China has dispatched eight police officers to Croatia for a one-month joint patrol mission. Invited by the Croatian National Police Bureau, the Chinese officers will collaborate with their Croatian counterparts during the bustling tourist season.

This initiative marks the fifth successful joint patrol since the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2017. The Chinese Ministry of Public Security hailed the mission as a vivid manifestation of the strong friendship between the two law enforcement bodies, noting its widespread acclaim.

The Chinese ministry emphasized its commitment to cooperation, innovation, and the rule of law. By working together, the Chinese and Croatian police aim to address safety concerns of Chinese tourists and jointly create a safer tourism environment.

“Our partnership with Croatia reflects a win-win outcome for both nations,” the ministry stated. “Through joint efforts, we can better protect our citizens abroad and contribute to global tourism safety.”
