On the same day, Chinese Premier Li Qiang exchanged congratulatory messages with Mauritanian Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal. Premier Li expressed China’s readiness to continue working with Mauritania to enrich their strategic partnership. Prime Minister Bilal reaffirmed Mauritania’s commitment to the one-China principle and expressed willingness to strengthen strategic ties with China.
