Futuristic Air Mobility Expo Opens in Shanghai with Global Premieres

The 2025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo has kicked off in Shanghai, showcasing the future of flight over an expansive 60,000 square meters. With nearly 300 exhibitors from around the globe and over 30 forums and events, the expo is a hub of innovation and excitement.

Among the highlights are more than 19 products making their global debut and 25 making their first domestic release. Attendees can witness groundbreaking technologies like the world’s first seven-seat, three-tonne multi-purpose electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, a platform for flying cars, large fixed-wing drones, hydrogen-powered UAVs, aviation engines, electric drive systems, and cutting-edge eVTOL flight simulators.

Focusing on the themes of “industry, ecosystem, and scenarios,” the expo combines exhibitions, forums, and competitions to explore the future of air mobility. One major event is the International Forum on Future Air Mobility, where regulators and leading enterprises discuss emerging trends and the evolving landscape of aviation.

Additionally, the Low-Altitude Economy Infrastructure Development Conference will release a framework study report, offering practical guidance for industry stakeholders. The expo isn’t just for industry professionals; Shanghai residents and visitors can enjoy a drone light show over the Huangpu River, experience low-altitude sightseeing in Lujiazui, and participate in various low-altitude activities.

For job seekers, the expo provides recruitment opportunities in the burgeoning low-altitude sector, while entrepreneurs can explore partnerships through project roadshows. The event represents a significant step forward in the advancement of air mobility technologies and their integration into everyday life.
