In Luoyang, Henan Province, an ancient city steeped in history, a dazzling display of light and culture captivated visitors during the Chinese New Year holiday. Performers dressed in vibrant Tang Dynasty costumes carried giant fish-shaped lanterns, parading through the Suitang Luoyang City National Archaeological Site Park on January 31, 2025.

The fish lantern parade illuminated the historic pathways where emperors once walked, reviving traditions from the Tang Dynasty era. Visitors watched in awe as the glowing lanterns, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune, lit up the night, infusing the ancient city with festive cheer.
