Originally built in the year 503, Chongyuan Temple has stood as a beacon of culture and spirituality for centuries. Reconstructed in the 2000s, the temple now houses China’s tallest indoor statue of Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, drawing pilgrims and tourists from around the world.
