Panda Cub Mei Zhu Delights Visitors at Upgraded Guangzhou Center

Giant panda cub Mei Zhu, nearly nine months old, has charmed visitors at the newly upgraded Giant Panda Center in Chimelong Safari Park, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Making her public debut on Tuesday, Mei Zhu is already the star attraction of the renovated facility.

The updated center offers an immersive experience for guests, blending indoor and outdoor viewing areas that allow visitors to watch Mei Zhu explore her new surroundings up close. The design mimics the panda’s natural habitat, providing Mei Zhu with an environment where she can thrive.

Beyond the adorable cub, the center also features educational exhibits that highlight the living habits of giant pandas, their conservation status, and the global efforts to protect this beloved species. Visitors not only get to enjoy watching Mei Zhu play but also learn about the importance of wildlife conservation.

“The arrival of Mei Zhu and the upgraded center offer an unparalleled opportunity for visitors to connect with one of the world’s most cherished animals,” said a representative from Chimelong Safari Park. “We hope to inspire the younger generation to contribute to conservation efforts.”
