China and Russia Unite in Concert to Honor WWII Legacy

A moving concert titled “Eternal Remembrance” was held in St. Petersburg to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II. The event honored the shared sacrifices of China and Russia in their united struggle against fascism.

The concert featured stirring performances by the St. Petersburg State Conservatory and the Russia-China Symphony Orchestra. Through patriotic music and heartfelt poetry, the event rekindled memories of the wartime alliance between the two nations.

In a congratulatory message, Andrey Denisov, first deputy chair of Russia’s Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, emphasized the heavy price both countries paid for peace. He warned against distorting historical truths or allowing fascism to resurge. Denisov affirmed that China and Russia remain steadfast partners in upholding global peace, equality, and mutual respect—just as they stood side by side eight decades ago.
