Marking 75 years of diplomatic relations, China and Denmark have showcased environmental protection and renewable energy development as the highlights of their enduring partnership.
Over the decades, the two nations have engaged in friendly exchanges, focusing on collaborative efforts to promote green initiatives and combat climate change.
Since forming an energy cooperation partnership in 2006, China and Denmark have embarked on extensive intergovernmental collaborations in the energy sector. Key projects include strategic offshore wind power cooperation between China’s National Energy Administration and the Danish Energy Agency under the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Energy Efficiency.
They have also jointly worked on annual reports detailing China’s renewable energy outlook, conducted by China’s National Development and Reform Commission and the Danish Energy Agency, further cementing their commitment to sustainable development.
While striving for domestic green and low-carbon growth, China and Denmark have teamed up to advance international cooperation in addressing climate change, setting an example for global environmental partnerships.
These efforts not only benefit both countries but also contribute significantly to global environmental sustainability, inspiring young people around the world to advocate for and participate in green initiatives.
