"I Did My PhD Here": Armenian Delegate’s Deep Bond with China
"I did my PhD in China, and now I live and work here," shared Safaryan Lusine, an Armenian delegate, during an interview at the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting in Beijing.
Lusine spoke passionately about her close connection with the Chinese mainland, praising its rapid development, rich culture, and the convenience of everyday life. "China has become a second home to me," she said. "Every day here is a learning experience filled with opportunities."
Emphasizing the importance of international gatherings like the dialogue, Lusine believes they foster understanding and collaboration among nations. "These events are crucial for building bridges between our cultures," she noted.
She extended a warm invitation to Chinese people to explore Armenia, highlighting its long and fascinating history. "It’s visa-free for Chinese people," she enthused. "Everyone is welcome to visit my country for holidays, for learning, for exchanges."
Lusine hopes that more young people from China will take the opportunity to discover Armenia’s unique heritage and strengthen the ties between the two nations.
