Chengdu Students Serenade French Sister School with Heartfelt Song

Students at Chengdu Montpellier Primary School in southwest China recently connected with their peers in France through a heartfelt musical performance. They sang the French song “If I Had the Chance to Go to China” for their sister school, Montpellier Primary School in Chengdu, France.

This touching gesture conveyed their best wishes and symbolized the enduring friendship between the two countries. The performance highlighted the strong bond shared by the sister schools, fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding among the young students.

“Through this song, we wanted to express our friendship and hope to visit each other’s countries someday,” said one of the young performers from Chengdu.

The schools have been engaged in cultural exchanges for years, and this musical collaboration is the latest effort to strengthen their connection. Such initiatives not only enrich the students’ educational experiences but also promote global unity and appreciation for diverse cultures.
