When Vietnamese mother of three, Le Phuc Hanh, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, her life hung in the balance. With limited medical resources available locally, her family faced a race against time.
Enter the 1369 Life Express, a cross-border medical initiative designed to provide swift medical assistance to those in urgent need. Through this program, Le was transferred from Vietnam to Dongxing People’s Hospital in the Chinese mainland.
At Dongxing, a dedicated team of Chinese doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize her condition and set her on the road to recovery. Thanks to their expertise and the seamless cooperation between the two countries, Le is now recuperating and looking forward to reuniting with her children.
Her story highlights the critical importance of cross-border health initiatives like the 1369 Life Express. For communities living along the frontier, access to timely medical care can be the difference between life and death. This program not only saves lives but also strengthens bonds between neighboring regions.
The success of Le’s rescue serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when countries work together for the common good.
