American Entrepreneur Urges Youth to Visit China for Deeper Understanding

Robert Jones, an American entrepreneur with deep family ties to China, believes that to truly understand the nation, people need to experience it firsthand. “China has an immigrant spirit that we don’t have in the U.S.,” he shared.

Jones’ connection to China runs deep. His family runs a business in the country, and his mother resides there. His father served in the Flying Tigers, the renowned volunteer group that fought alongside Chinese forces during World War II against Japanese aggression. Growing up, Jones spent considerable time in Asia due to his parents’ frequent travels between China and the United States.

He encourages Americans, Europeans, and Latin Americans to visit China to gain a better understanding of its rich culture and dynamic society. “Many American businesses are looking for opportunities in China,” Jones said. “There is so much potential for cooperation and mutual growth.”

By bridging cultural gaps through travel and personal experience, Jones believes that young people around the world can foster greater global understanding and forge stronger international relationships.
