As 2024 comes to an end, the global campaign “1,001 Wishes for 2025 #Hello2025” is inviting people from around the world to share their hopes for the upcoming year. Available in over 80 languages, the initiative aims to unite voices and aspirations as we step into 2025.
One of these voices is Nehme, a young innovator from Beirut, Lebanon. He shares his New Year’s resolutions, expressing a desire to enhance his innovative skills and pursue personal growth.
Nehme also wishes for a more united future for his region. He believes that strengthening people-to-people ties and enhancing collaboration can pave the way for peace and prosperity in the Middle East.
“I hope that through mutual understanding and cooperation, we can build bridges between communities,” Nehme says. “Personal growth is important, but growing together is even more powerful.”
As we approach 2025, Nehme’s wishes echo the sentiments of many young people in the Global South who are looking forward to a future of innovation, unity, and shared growth.
