The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) wrapped up on April 18, attracting over 1,700 enterprises and 4,100 brands from more than 70 countries and regions. Amidst the bustling expo in Hainan, British student Max Passey from Hainan University took to the floor to discover what global exhibitors had to say about their products and prospects in the Chinese market.

Passey engaged with exhibitors from around the world, uncovering a shared optimism about opportunities in the Chinese mainland. A Canadian exhibitor expressed enthusiasm after meeting numerous buyers and distributors. “We’ve had a fantastic response to our products,” he shared. “The interest from buyers here is incredibly encouraging.”

Similarly, an exhibitor from Slovakia highlighted the expo’s role in expanding their reach. “CICPE is an excellent platform to promote our products not only in the Chinese market but globally,” they said. “We believe this expo will open new doors for our business.”

The expo showcased a diverse array of consumer products, reflecting China’s growing influence in the global market. For young people like Passey, the event offered a unique glimpse into international trade and cultural exchange.

As the CICPE continues to grow, exhibitors remain optimistic about the future, eager to explore the vast opportunities the Chinese mainland has to offer.
