Peruvian student Anna Paula Peralta Reyes is celebrating China’s recent announcement of a visa-free policy for Peruvians, viewing it as a bridge to deeper cultural and educational exchanges between the two nations.
Anna Paula, who has been studying Chinese for 11 years, previously attended Jilin University in China. During her time there, she visited Shanghai and Changchun, where she was captivated by the scenic beauty and rich history. “My experiences in China made me fall in love with its culture,” she said.
Speaking about the new visa policy, Anna Paula expressed excitement for the opportunities it presents. “It’s a great chance for more Peruvians to experience China firsthand. This will strengthen educational, cultural, and economic ties between our countries,” she noted.
She believes that the growing connection will foster progress and development for both nations, especially among the youth. “The visa-free policy will encourage more exchanges and collaborations, leading to mutual benefits,” Anna Paula added.
The policy is expected to facilitate travel for Peruvian citizens, making it easier for students, entrepreneurs, and tourists to explore China and build meaningful relationships.
