The upcoming second China-Central Asia Summit, set for June 2025, is not the only event fostering ties between China and Central Asia. Milla, a student from Kazakhstan studying at Tsinghua University, is at the forefront of cultural exchange between the two nations.
“Many people connect with Chinese music even if they don’t understand the language, and social media platforms have become the biggest bridges between cultures,” Milla shared. She believes that young people are building meaningful connections through music and cultural interaction.
Milla emphasized that culture is one of the most powerful forms of cooperation, fostering deeper understanding between the peoples of China and Kazakhstan. “Our generation has the tools to connect like never before. Music and social media allow us to share our cultures and learn from each other,” she said.
As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, students like Milla are leading the way in promoting cultural understanding. The youth of today are leveraging technology and art to bridge gaps and build a more connected global community.
