American Entrepreneur Finds Inspiration in China at 2025 Summer Davos
The 2025 Summer Davos Forum took place in north China’s Tianjin Municipality from June 24 to 26 under the theme “Entrepreneurship for a New Era.” The event highlighted five key topics: deciphering the world economy, economic outlook, industry disruption, investing in people and the planet, and advancements in new energy and materials.
Among the attendees was Drew Shula, an American entrepreneur and environmentalist, who shared his insights on the forum. In an interview, Shula described China as “just full of wonderful people and an inspiring place,” expressing his admiration for the country’s innovation and development.
“I draw a lot of inspiration from China,” Shula said, emphasizing the importance of positive cooperation between China and the United States. “Collaboration is key to addressing global challenges like climate change and sustainable development.”
The Summer Davos Forum, also known as the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, serves as a platform for leaders from business, government, and academia to discuss pressing global issues and explore innovative solutions.
Shula’s comments reflect a growing sentiment among entrepreneurs worldwide who recognize the value of international cooperation. His hopeful outlook on China-U.S. relations resonates with many who see joint efforts as essential for a prosperous future.
