The National Meteorological Center has also renewed a blue alert for strong winds. From 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, powerful winds are forecasted to hit parts of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region, Qinghai and Gansu provinces, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the Taiwan Strait, the sea area east of Taiwan, and sections of the South China Sea.
Beijing Prepares for Rain and Snow
The Beijing Meteorological Service has issued a warning for a significant temperature drop starting Sunday evening, bringing rain and snow to the capital. The western and northern parts of Beijing could experience sleet or snow, while most urban areas and plains are expected to be dominated by rainfall. The precipitation is predicted to end by noon on Monday, followed by strong winds and freezing temperatures lasting until Wednesday.
