Wang Jinjie, research assistant professor at the National School of Development and deputy secretary-general of the Center for African Studies at Peking University, anticipates increased Chinese investment in connectivity projects. “Improving access to international markets is crucial for Africa’s development,” she noted.
Fortune Abang, chief correspondent at the News Agency of Nigeria, emphasized the significance of Wang Yi’s visit to Nigeria. The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation.
The tour underscores China’s ongoing commitment to partnering with African nations to achieve shared development goals. As Wang Yi’s visit progresses, both sides look forward to forging stronger ties and creating a brighter future for the people of China and Africa.
