In an exclusive interview, International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach shared his insights on China’s significant contributions to the Olympic movement over the past 12 years. Speaking with CMG’s Zou Yun, Bach highlighted how China’s dedication to hosting major sporting events has solidified its position on the international stage.
“China has demonstrated remarkable commitment to the Olympic spirit by hosting events like the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, the Beijing Olympic Winter Games, the Chengdu World University Games, and the Hangzhou Asian Games,” Bach said. “These events not only showcase China’s organizational capabilities but also promote the Olympic values of excellence, friendship, and respect.”
