Political parties from China and Central and Eastern Europe came together in Beijing on Monday to strengthen their partnerships and explore new opportunities for collaboration. The event, titled “China’s Modernization and New Opportunities for China-CEEC Relations: Contribution of Political Parties”, attracted nearly 50 representatives from 19 political parties across 12 countries.
Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, expressed the CPC’s commitment to working closely with Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC). He emphasized the importance of deepening strategic dialogue, sharing ideas, and leveraging cooperation platforms to enhance the quality and effectiveness of joint efforts.
Delegates from the CEEC praised China’s development path, noting it offers a valuable alternative approach for global progress. They expressed a strong desire to enhance exchanges and dialogues with the CPC to foster mutual understanding and promote stronger Europe-China relations.
