China’s Vice President Calls for Global Supply Chain Cooperation at International Expo

Chinese Vice President Han Zheng has called for strengthened global cooperation in industrial and supply chains. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, Han emphasized the importance of collaboration for mutual benefit, innovation, and green development.

Han outlined a three-point proposal to promote win-win cooperation, optimize and upgrade supply chains, and support the green transition of industries worldwide. He highlighted China’s commitment to economic globalization, stating that the nation will enhance business and industrial capacity cooperation with other countries to achieve shared benefits.

“We will deepen our innovation-driven development strategy and accelerate the growth of new productive forces,” Han said. “This will create broader opportunities for deep integration and cooperation in industrial and supply chains.”

He also expressed China’s willingness to expand partnerships in green industries and clean energy, aiming to boost global green development. Han noted that China has long participated in and benefited from global supply chain cooperation and is ready to contribute further to an open global economic system.

The CISCE, themed “Connecting the World for a Shared Future,” is the world’s first national-level exhibition focused on supply chains. The expo gathers industry leaders and experts from around the globe to promote collaboration and innovation. The opening ceremony was attended by approximately 1,100 participants.
