President Xi emphasized the deepening political trust and fruitful cooperation between the two nations in recent years. He noted that both countries have supported each other on issues concerning their core interests and major concerns.
Expressing his commitment to strengthening China-Namibia relations, Xi said he looks forward to working with President-elect Nandi-Ndaitwah. He sees the upcoming 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Beijing as an opportunity to further enhance their traditional friendship and mutually beneficial partnership.
