A top delegation from China’s Communist Party (CPC), led by Ma Hui, visited Malaysia last week to boost ties between the two countries.
The delegation took part in the Fifth Belt and Road China-Malaysia Business Dialogue, where they met with Malaysian political leaders and business executives. The discussions centered on how China and Malaysia can work together more closely under the Belt and Road Initiative—a global development strategy launched by China to connect Asia with Africa and Europe.
Ma Hui expressed China’s eagerness to deepen cooperation with Malaysia. He stated that both countries should build on their leaders’ agreements to enhance their strategic partnership. By working together, they aim to contribute more to regional stability and prosperity.
Malaysian officials welcomed the opportunity to strengthen ties. They are keen to increase collaboration in various areas through inter-party relations, aiming to build a shared future with China.
