China’s Supreme Court Unveils Ambitious Five-Year Reform Plan
In a move to bolster business confidence and strengthen the rule of law, China’s Supreme People’s Court (SPC) has announced a comprehensive five-year reform plan aimed at enhancing judicial protection of property rights. Spanning from 2024 to 2028, this outline is the sixth of its kind and sets out over 200 specific tasks for courts nationwide.

It emphasizes strict regulation according to the law and explores new methods for lifting preservation measures. These steps aim to ensure that all forms of ownership enjoy equal access to production factors, fair market competition, and equal legal protection.
