Beijing recently hosted a significant symposium focusing on the natural resources work guided by President Xi Jinping’s discourses. The event aimed to study and implement key excerpts from Xi’s speeches on managing and utilizing China’s natural resources effectively.
Vice Premier He Lifeng, a prominent member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, attended the symposium and delivered an influential speech. He emphasized that Xi Jinping’s insights provide essential guidance for advancing natural resources work in the new era.
“Strengthening the Party’s overall leadership over natural resources is fundamental to achieving our goals,” He Lifeng stated. He highlighted the importance of adhering to a people-centered development philosophy and promoting modernization that fosters harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
He Lifeng also called for improved development of China’s geographical spaces while continuing efforts in natural resource conservation and utilization. “We must effectively translate our learning into practical results,” he added, urging for immediate action to implement the discussed strategies.
The symposium reflects China’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship, aligning with global efforts to balance economic growth with ecological preservation.
