Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is set to attend the 11th China-Japan-Republic of Korea (ROK) Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Tokyo on March 22, according to China’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will join his counterparts from Japan and the ROK to discuss regional cooperation and issues of shared interest.
During his visit to Japan, Wang and Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa will co-chair the Sixth China-Japan High-Level Economic Dialogue. The dialogue aims to strengthen economic ties between the two nations, addressing key challenges and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
The upcoming meetings are expected to enhance cooperation among the three neighboring countries, promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in East Asia.
