Communist Youth League of China Surpasses 75 Million Members

The Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) has announced that its membership has surged to approximately 75.32 million by the end of last year. This impressive figure includes around 6.42 million new members who joined during the year, highlighting a growing trend of youth engagement across the nation.

According to statistics released by the CYLC Central Committee, the League now comprises nearly 4.4 million organizations throughout the country. Of these, about 2 million are established in schools, colleges, and universities, boasting a combined membership of approximately 38.5 million young people.

The remaining CYLC organizations are actively involved in various sectors, including enterprises, public institutions, urban and rural communities, and social organizations. This widespread presence underscores the League’s significant role in uniting and mobilizing China’s youth across diverse fields.
