A spectacular gala was held at Tianya Haijiao Park in Sanya, Hainan Province, celebrating China’s 12th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities. The event showcased the rich cultural diversity and unity of the nation.
The gala featured five zones of performances and exhibitions, highlighting themes such as singing, dancing, and intangible cultural heritage from various ethnic groups. Visitors from across the country were welcomed into two interactive areas, offering them a chance to immerse themselves in the vibrant traditions.
Along the scenic coastline of Sanya, nearly 40 exhibitions presented the unique characteristics of different ethnic groups. Tourists and athletes of the Games explored these displays, gaining a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultures of Hainan and other regions of China.
On Tuesday, the Games paused for half a day to allow participants to enjoy recreation time at the gala. Visitors exchanged gifts and joined together in singing and dancing, further strengthening the bonds of unity and friendship among the attendees.
