Guo Ailun’s Perfect Shooting Leads Guangzhou to Dominant Win Over Jilin

The Guangzhou Loong Lions soared to a decisive 140-117 victory over the Jilin Northeast Tigers in Guangdong Province on Saturday. The home crowd was electrified by Guo Ailun, who delivered a season-high 32 points, five rebounds, and seven assists.

Guo was flawless from beyond the arc, hitting all six of his three-point attempts. It’s been 991 days since he last scored over 30 points in a Chinese Basketball Association regular-season game.

Starting strong, Guo scored 11 points in the first quarter, propelling Guangzhou to outscore Jilin 38-22. After a quiet second quarter, he erupted in the third, adding 14 points by making all five of his shots. By the end of the third quarter, Guangzhou held a commanding 108-83 lead.

The victory was a team effort, with eight Guangzhou players scoring in double figures and the team tallying an impressive 37 assists. Their teamwork and Guo’s outstanding performance secured their second consecutive win.

In another matchup, the Shandong Kylins defeated the Fujian Sturgeons 111-92 in Jinan. Marquese Chriss and Dallas Moore combined for 51 points and nine steals for Shandong, while Fujian’s Joseph Young scored a game-high 42 points in a valiant effort.
