50-Day Countdown Begins for 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin

The excitement is building in Harbin as the 50-day countdown to the 2025 Asian Winter Games begins. The capital of northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province is buzzing with energy as final preparations are underway for the continental event scheduled from February 7 to February 14, 2025.

Across the city, signs of the Games are everywhere. The beloved mascots, “Binbin” and “Nini”, have become popular attractions at the airport, railway station, and bustling Central Street, drawing both locals and tourists eager to snap photos. Streets are adorned with emblems, slogans, and banners, infusing the urban landscape with a festive atmosphere.

Organizers have installed over 9,000 pairs of flag poles along 94 main streets and plan to set up 60 enchanting ice lantern exhibits throughout the city during the winter season.
