Bayern Thump Hoffenheim 5 0 to Go Four Points Clear at Top

Bayern Munich Crush Hoffenheim 5-0 to Extend Bundesliga Lead

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich showcased their dominance with a resounding 5-0 victory over Hoffenheim on Wednesday, extending their lead at the top of the table to four points.

The Bavarian giants wasted no time asserting control, with Leroy Sané opening the scoring in the 7th minute after a slick assist from Thomas Müller. Just five minutes later, Raphael Guerreiro doubled the advantage, finishing off a clever one-two with Harry Kane.

Kane, in scintillating form since his move to Bayern, netted his 16th Bundesliga goal in the 26th minute from the penalty spot. The England captain has now converted all 12 penalties he’s taken in the league, boasting one of the best records in Bundesliga history.

Bayern continued their onslaught in the second half, with Sané grabbing his second goal just three minutes after the restart. Substitute Serge Gnabry sealed the emphatic win with a tap-in during the 66th minute.

The victory reinforces Bayern’s position at the summit of the Bundesliga, while Hoffenheim’s struggles deepen as they drop into the relegation playoff spot after six league games without a win.
