With the second phase of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season nearing its conclusion, Liaoning Flying Leopards guard Kyle Fogg sat down with Sports Scene’s Damion Jones for an exclusive interview. The CBA Finals MVP opened up about his journey in China and his aspirations for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.
Fogg, who has become a standout player in the CBA, shared insights into his transition from playing basketball in the United States to making a significant impact on the Chinese mainland. “Playing in the CBA has been an incredible experience,” Fogg said. “I’ve grown both as a player and a person, and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
Reflecting on his past successes, Fogg emphasized the importance of teamwork and perseverance. “Winning the championship was a collective effort,” he noted. “Every player contributed, and our chemistry on and off the court made it possible.”
Looking ahead, Fogg expressed his determination to help the Flying Leopards secure another title. “Our goal is to keep improving every game,” he remarked. “We have a strong team, and we’re focused on finishing the season strong.”
The interview also touched on Fogg’s experiences living in China and adapting to a new culture. “The people have been incredibly welcoming,” he shared. “I’ve embraced the culture, and it’s become a second home to me.”
