The anticipation for the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin is heating up as the second convoy of China Media Group’s (CMG) renowned “Chinese Red” live broadcasting vehicles has arrived in the host city. Traveling over 1,300 kilometers from Beijing, the fleet is set to bring the excitement of the games to audiences with cutting-edge technology.
CMG’s impressive lineup includes ultra-high-definition broadcasting vehicles, auxiliary units, audio systems, and specialized equipment vehicles. Upon arrival, five of these state-of-the-art vehicles headed straight to the Heilongjiang Ice Sports Training Center. This venue will be the stage for exhilarating short track speed skating and mesmerizing figure skating competitions.
The remaining vehicles made their way to the Harbin International Conference, Exhibition, and Sports Center. Here, preparations are underway to ensure seamless coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, promising viewers an unforgettable experience.
To safeguard the sensitive broadcasting equipment against the harsh winter temperatures, a specially constructed “warming shed” has been set up at the Heilongjiang Ice Sports Training Center. Powered by eight continuously running air conditioners, this facility ensures that all equipment functions optimally despite the cold conditions.
CMG will take on the crucial role of signal production for the short track speed skating and figure skating events during the games. With the short track competitions kicking off on February 7, athletes and fans alike are gearing up for thrilling performances and intense rivalries on the ice.
The arrival of CMG’s broadcasting fleet marks a significant milestone in the countdown to the Asian Winter Games, highlighting China’s dedication to delivering a world-class sporting event. As the excitement builds, spectators can look forward to comprehensive and high-quality coverage of all the action from Harbin.
