China has achieved a remarkable feat at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Singapore Smash, securing all five titles on offer. This dominant performance showcases China’s prowess in table tennis and highlights the exceptional talent of its athletes.
In the men’s doubles final, Wang Chuqin and Lin Shidong, pairing up for the first time at a WTT event, exhibited outstanding teamwork and skill. They overpowered the Chinese Taipei duo of Lin Yun-ju and Kao Cheng-jui in straight games, finishing with scores of 11-2, 11-4, and 13-11. Lin Shidong continued his stellar run by reaching the men’s singles final, where he defeated Frenchman Alexis Lebrun in straight games.
The men’s singles semifinals also featured an electrifying match between Liang Jingkun and top seed Wang Chuqin. Liang edged out Wang in a thrilling seven-game battle, clinching the decisive game with a score of 12-10.

The other semifinal saw world No. 1 Sun Yingsha overcome Wang Yidi in a tightly contested match, securing her place in the final with a 12-10 victory in the deciding game.
In the women’s doubles final, Wang Manyu and Kuai Man triumphed over Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi in an epic 3-2 showdown. This victory marked Kuai’s second title of the tournament, adding to her earlier success in mixed doubles.
