International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach, along with a delegation of IOC officials, visited the Beijing Olympic Museum on February 20. They were warmly welcomed by Beijing’s Vice Mayor, Sima Hong, and senior representatives from the Beijing Olympic City Development Association.

During the visit, President Bach praised Beijing’s lasting impact on the Olympic movement. He commended the city’s commitment to promoting the Olympic spirit and preserving the legacy of the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2022 Winter Olympics. Bach expressed his appreciation for the museum’s efforts in showcasing Beijing’s history as the first city to host both the Summer and Winter Games.

Before departing, President Bach left a heartfelt message for the museum and the city, acknowledging Beijing’s significant contributions to global sports and unity. His visit underscored the ongoing collaboration between the IOC and Beijing in promoting international athletic participation and cultural exchange.
