Meanwhile, Shanghai Port secured an impressive 4-1 victory over Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, solidifying their position near the top of the standings.

In a match filled with excitement, Qingdao Hainiu shocked Shenhua by taking an early lead in the 4th minute, thanks to a close-range strike by Alves da Silva. Shenhua responded almost immediately, with Jiang Shenglong heading home a perfectly delivered corner from Chen Jinyi.

Continuing their momentum, Shenhua took the lead in the 16th minute. Another precise corner from Chen found Wu Xi, whose clever backheel rattled the crossbar. Andre Luis was quick to react, nodding in the rebound to make it 2-1. However, the lead was short-lived as Qingdao earned a penalty just minutes later. Elvis Saric calmly converted, bringing the score level at 2-2 by halftime.

The second half saw Shenhua regain control. In the 54th minute, Chen Jinyi provided his third assist of the night, setting up Joao Teixeira. Teixeira skillfully adjusted before unleashing a powerful shot into the net, securing the 3-2 victory for Shenhua. With this win, they now sit atop the league table with 17 points.

Leonardo added a third before halftime, giving Port a commanding lead. In the second half, Wang Shenchao extended the advantage to 4-0. Although Tianjin managed a late consolation penalty converted by Xadas in the 83rd minute, Port’s dominant performance earned them a convincing 4-1 win.
