The 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) is set to take place in Beijing from November 26 to 30, focusing on enhancing international cooperation in industrial and supply chains. This year’s expo spans over 100,000 square meters and features more than 600 exhibitors, including a significant increase in foreign participants—32% of the total, up from 26% last year.
As the world’s first national-level exhibition dedicated to supply chains, the expo aims to connect upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, bringing together enterprises of all sizes. “The CISCE is about presenting chains, ecosystems, and scenarios,” said Zhang Shaogang, deputy director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, at a press conference on October 28. “It emphasizes long-term cooperation and common development among enterprises.”
Notably, U.S. companies will contribute the largest share of overseas participation, with increased representation from Europe and Japan as well. This suggests that foreign investors remain optimistic about the Chinese market and continue to see China as a key supply chain partner for global resource allocation.
The expo will feature dedicated areas for supply chains in clean energy, smart vehicles, digital technology, healthy living, green agriculture, and supply chain services. A new exhibition area focusing on advanced manufacturing chains will showcase the latest achievements in technological and industrial innovation.
Hungary has been named the guest country of honor for this year’s expo. The Hungary Pavilion will highlight the nation’s leading industries, unique resources, cultural heritage, and scenic landscapes. Additionally, Central China’s Hubei Province will serve as the guest province of honor, presenting over 70 exhibits from enterprises in advanced manufacturing, intelligent vehicles, digital technology, and clean energy.
In a joint effort, Hubei and Hungary will host a conference on supply chains to explore new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation. The CISCE aims to create a platform for promoting openness and fostering the development of an open world economy.
