Beijing, China — China is gearing up to embrace the future by promoting new quality productive forces in emerging industries. At the opening meeting of the third session of the 14th National People’s Congress on Wednesday, Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered a government work report outlining the nation’s ambitious plans.
According to Premier Li, China will take measures tailored to local conditions to foster the development of emerging and future industries. These industries include commercial aerospace, low-altitude economy, biomanufacturing, quantum computing, embodied intelligence, and 6G technologies.
The country aims to accelerate the digital transformation of traditional industries, boosting innovation and competitiveness. “We will continue to maximize the allocation of computing power to establish globally competitive digital industry clusters,” Premier Li stated.
