China’s Wu Weiren Calls for Global Unity in Lunar Exploration on Space Day

On the 10th Space Day of China, Wu Weiren, chief designer of China’s Lunar Exploration Program, emphasized the critical role of international cooperation in advancing lunar exploration. Speaking about the International Lunar Research Station (ILRS), he expressed China’s welcome to scientists from around the globe, highlighting that shared goals and collective efforts can lead to achievements of global significance.

“We believe that by working together, we can unlock the mysteries of the Moon and contribute to humanity’s understanding of space,” said Wu Weiren. “Our doors are open to the world, and we encourage collaboration that transcends national boundaries.”

China’s commitment to global collaboration in space exploration has been evident through various joint initiatives, from satellite projects to lunar missions. The co-development of the ILRS serves as a testament to this cooperative spirit, aiming to establish a research base on the Moon that benefits all of humanity.

As nations look toward the stars, questions arise about the importance of unity in space exploration and how space resources can be utilized for peace and the protection of Earth. The universal challenges faced by humanity, such as climate change and resource scarcity, underscore the need for collective action and shared knowledge.

The 10th Space Day of China serves not only as a celebration of the country’s achievements in space but also as a call to the global community to join hands in exploring the final frontier. By fostering international partnerships, the hope is to pave the way for discoveries that advance science and promote the peaceful use of outer space.
