An An and Ke Ke, the newest panda pair to join Hong Kong’s Ocean Park, made their much-anticipated public debut on Sunday. After completing their quarantine period and settling into their new habitat, the duo greeted visitors with playful curiosity.
An An even approached the glass of the panda enclosure, delighting onlookers eager to catch a close-up glimpse of the adorable giant panda. The pair arrived in Hong Kong in September, boosting Ocean Park’s panda population to six.
They are the third pair of giant pandas sent to Hong Kong from the Chinese mainland, symbolizing growing bonds and cultural exchange.
Visitors expressed excitement over the new arrivals, saying the pandas’ playful antics brought joy and warmth to the park.
Ocean Park officials encouraged guests to visit An An and Ke Ke, emphasizing the importance of wildlife conservation and the role these pandas play in raising awareness.
