Pet lovers in Changchun, Jilin Province, have a new way to enjoy the city with their animal companions. The city’s Route 54 Cultural Tourism Northeast Tiger Special Tram has rolled out a pet-friendly service, allowing pets to join their owners on board at designated times.
The tram, adorned with adorable Siberian tiger motifs—also known as the Northeast Tiger—has been a hit since its launch in 2024. Now, with its pet-friendly initiative, it’s attracting even more attention from locals and tourists alike.
Passengers can soak in the scenic views of Changchun while professional guides share fascinating stories and history about the city’s landmarks. The experience is enhanced with complimentary beverages, cookies, and exclusive souvenirs available on board.
For those who prefer nighttime adventures, the tram offers evening tours featuring traditional shadow puppet performances, adding a cultural touch to the journey.
