A group of young people from around the world have gathered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, to dive into the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) technology developed in the Chinese mainland. Participants from countries including Russia, Nigeria, Ghana, Latvia, and Germany interacted with humanoid robots and explored innovative AI tools and products.
The event, titled “Hi China! My China Story,” kicked off in April in Hangzhou. It invited these international youths to experience the local history and culture while engaging with cutting-edge technology. Throughout the activity, they recorded and shared stories about their journey in the city.
“This has been an incredible opportunity to see firsthand how AI is shaping the future,” said Alex, a participant from Russia. “Interacting with the humanoid robots was both fascinating and inspiring.”
The initiative aims to foster cultural exchange and showcase the technological innovations emerging from Hangzhou, a city rapidly becoming a hub for tech development in the Chinese mainland. By immersing the participants in both modern advancements and traditional culture, the program hopes to build bridges between youth from different backgrounds.
Participants not only engaged with AI technology but also explored Hangzhou’s rich historical sites, blending the experience of ancient traditions with futuristic innovations.
